In Springsteen lore, it’s sometimes just referred to as “The Night” - May 9, 1974. Barry Schneier, the only working photographer in the house that night, chronicled the evening with a wonderful and very personal series of photographs - many never before seen. He also experienced firsthand the magic of that performance, of which music critic John Landau subsequently wrote “ I have seen the future of rock ‘n’ roll and it’s name is Bruce Springsteen.“ That experience and those photos have been brought together in a special table-top volume that will take fans, lovers of great photography and anyone moved by special moments in rock history back to that night at Harvard Square Theatre.
